Alphabet Journals
Learning about letters and more importantly, phonics;  is the foundation of Pre-K. We do so many fun hands on activities with letters and letter sounds on a daily basis in my class. 
My kids LOVE to write. I made these journals and have them in a few places.  Some I leave out for them to sort through and grab any letter they want, and others I put into a folder like a journal. That way they can grab the journal and off they go to write! 
These are also great to use for small group. After the children practice writing and finding the letter on their page, you can talk about the pictures and the sound the letter makes. 
I laminated these and leave dry erase markers, or Expo Vis-A-Vis wet erase markers out for them to use.
