Schedule Cards and Job Helpers

I finally finished my classroom visual schedule and helpers chart. I LOVE how it all turned out. My kiddos LOVE using the visual schedule throughout the day. It also really helpers with children that need that extra reminder of what is coming next, or how long till I get to go home. We can go over to the schedule and count the activities we still have to do in our day. Check it out.

I put pictures of the kiddos next to each number so they know what group they are in.

I order a bulk amount of bottle caps on Amazon and painted them white. I put a magnet on the back of each one and then the child's picture on it. We rotate through all the magnets.

You can buy my helper chart and schedule  at my TPT store.

Back to School

I finally got most of my classroom finished, other than some minor details. I REALLY can't believe it is coming together. Here is the semi-final product.

Y'all, LOOK at this bench. My hubby made it and I can't even believe how Awesome it turned out. He went ABOVE and beyond and I LOVE it. (And, I know the Y is missing)

This looks kinds empty, but I will take family pics of all my kiddos and add to this board.

I love how cute my art center turned out.

Calendar

This is our moveable picture schedule.  I have velcro pieces out to the side
of each picture. The kiddos use a star with velcro on it and move it down
our schedule through out the day. They love it.

100th Day of School

The 100th day of school is ALWAYS an exciting milestone to cross, and yet lets face it! When you work with 4 years olds, the day is just crazy and full of chaos.  I have learned over the years to embrace the chaos and KEEP THEM BUSY! Yes, I planned so many fun things for the 100th day of school. I had options to fill their excitement.

We made super Hero capes, Painted, wrote our names in the number 100, made 100 legs for our centipede, sang songs that counted to 100 and read many books. Oh, AND we made a 100 day snack.

ENTER.....chaos....happy chaos!

100 day crowns and super hero capes. Each cape said 100 and they each got 100 stickers. They spread out all over the room and LOVED decorating their capes.

Our centipede. It had 100 legs. Each child helped decorate and make patterns on legs and glue them on.

Writing our names, ANY practice we can get.

Just a few of the 100 day projects brought in...
